If I had to choose one of three cars for a long car ride ….
Which would you choose? The reader will be about 4,000 miles round trip from the Midwest to Los Angeles and back in the south-west in late autumn. The three cars are in pretty good condition and have a good stereos.You has your choice: 1995 Subaru sedan, auto, FWD, 150K, homeless, ~ 27 mpg. Comfortable, fast, without (ahem) remarkable. 2003 VW Golf Diesel, 5-SP, sunroof, 100k ~ 48 mpg. Hatch large, comfortable, but they can be stacked over long distances. Toyota 4Runner 2008 4WD, sunroof, 9d 24 miles per gallon. Huge, can take the road. We do not intend to go on the roads very difficult, except in some national parks, the price of gas is a factor, but also space, because it is the thought of camping. Ideas? Thank you!
Go go for the 2008 Toyota because you'd be surprised how much you need gear camp. All ads business. It is better to be comfortable anyway. I'm so jealous … I want to go on a roadtrip … Enjoy;)
