What is the best brand of 3 season sleeping bag for week long backpacking trips?
Slbell68 is right – down is not good for backpacking. Look for a fiberfill bag with a stuff sack. I got mine at EMS about 15 years ago and it’s fine.
You want a bag that weighs about 2.5 pounds, no more than 3 pounds and that squishes down to about the size of a small cushion.
Link below is to articles I have written about gear with a link to Sierra Trading Post. This place has a wide range of products and they guarantee everything they sell.
No lie – my hiking boots fell apart and I glued them and even though they were three years old – Sierra took them back and refunded my money. I buy everything from them – quality and customer service are top-notch.
