If a new knife has been little used over a period of six years, you may lose the blade is sharpness?
I had my hunting knife, Winchester by about 6 years and I've hardly used it since. Is it possible that the blade sharpness is lost for lack of time? It is not rusted because it is always in the sheath, but may reduce aging of sharpness?
not really, but slight oxidation on the edge can cause this, it might be able to see it, but there is probably a small oxide layer on the edge, enough to make you lose a razor sharp edge, but it would not be bad, just grind, it will be razor sharp in no time. too? was strong before hand, some production knives are very sharp from the factory, lower quality, Winchester is one of those companies that can be economic they are at work.
