what retail store sells emergency supplies?
stuff like emergency flashlights that dont need batteries, a hand crank power generator, that has an something where you can put in an ac adapter, emergency blankets and sleeping bags, and that kind of stuff
and also, for food im using MRE’s but i dont want to lug arround bottles of water, where can i get some water ration packs kind of like the ones you see on this product on the left

You can get all that at any outdoor store. The water rations you`ll be able to find at higher end outdoor stores like REI or EMS or Campmor, not like Sports Authority or Gander Mountain. The rations would be a lot cheaper at a military surplus store than they would be in the outdoor store, mainly because they`re surplus so it`s cheaper for them to buy. So I`m guessing you want to be able to move with your emergency kit?

I took a wilderness survival course through him, he was special forces or green beret or something, but he has his own business in creating survival kits and he also consults for the government on different scenarios for when diplomats come into the US.
