Does anyone know where to find weights for brass marching instruments?
Last marching season, we had a member of staff who had these weights that we would wrap around the bells of our marching horns and baritones to get used to the weight so it would be easier on the field. He is no longer a member of our staff, but I am totally unable to find these weights anywhere. There were blue and had a few weights in little sort of pockets, and were attached to our bells by velcro.
Has anyone heard of these and know where I could possible purchase one?
There would be no money in making weights for horn bells so I suspect that the weights are ankle weights used to build up leg muscles. Try a sporting goods store.
