What are my options with a coil burner stove range?
I have a stove (range) with 4 coil heating elements (burners) that plug in to the stove with two prongs each. Can these be replaced with a “solid surface” burner? Are the solid surface burners better? Are there more modern options to replace the coil-type burners without replacing the stove?
The best way to get an answer to this question is to go to an authorized repair store for the manufacturer of the stove. I am very sure that to change from the coil heating elements to a solid surface would be impossible to do, unless you had more money to waste on the safe conversion than it would take to buy a new one.
