where is a good campground in BC for a group of grad students?
I am planning a grad trip for around 30 students and we are looking for a good place to camp somewhere in BC(close to vancouver preferrably). Hopefully somewhere that isnt too strict
“Someplace that isn’t too strict” for 30 grad students is unheard of these days. Nobody will let you in, unless it’s a dry grad, you have adult chaperons and willing for an adult to sign their life away should something go wrong.
My opinion is that the only way you will get something is on private property. The only campgrounds close are Cultus Lake (Chilliwack), Alice Lake (Squamish), Alloutte Lake (Maple Ridge). They all have security and all have been burnt over the years from grad parties that these campsites are locked down tight come grad season.
Better find someone whose mom and dad, uncle or aunt own some property up the valley. Then make sure you take all the car keys away once they get there . . .nobody leaves on their own and/or with their parents/adult.
Have fun and keep safe
