Have you read Great American Camping Cookbook by Scott Cookman?
I went down to the library yesterday and spent some time browsing around and found this wonderful book. It has a lot of good advice about using real food and some great food history. I highly recommend it! ~ : )
No, I haven’t seen the book. Is it a good one? I do have an amazing easy , simple bread recipe I got out of the backwoodsman magazine though. All you need is 2 cups of self rising flour,2Tbl sugar, pinch of salt and 1 12oz bottle of warm beer…. mix all together and place in a bread pan and cook @ 350 for 45 min- an hour! That quick and that easy…Amaze your friends! I hear it works well in a Dutch oven too.
