What areas are good for cycling in the UK?
Am interested in seeing and exploring some of the natural areas, mainly England and wales. Forests or countyside, off road. Can anyone give me some tips on good places for cycling maybe even camping along the way as well. So good spots, whats the Cotswolds like? or the peak district? Have no idea what these places are like so any tips are apreciated.
i dunno where you are based… but the uk is really well set up for long distant bike paths, so there are some pretty interesting and pretty traffic free routes for you to try.
these guys run them:

but you prolly dont need to buy their maps: the ordanance survey pink series have the long distance paths marked.
I’ve done most of london to bristol, all of london to brighton, and london to dover too on those paths. they all work, and i would recommend them all.
I also really like the slog from london to southampton: the north downs (just south of london) are a really challenging but pretty fun ride- loads of hills, cool views and (most importantly) nice pubs to stop for lunch at!
the next thing i want to try is the north sea cycle route

now that looks cool
