I want to move my 3 month old into his crib.?
Its getting rough at night with his teething and my husband being woken up. He works and I stay at home and his job is very stressful and long hours.. hes not complaining but I think its time for my son to move into his room. I however, might not be ready so I want to set up camp on the floor and sleep on the floor while my son sleeps in his crib. That way I can be right there if and everytime he wakes up.
Do you think its ok to just start putting him in his crib at night. Or should I start small with naps during the day? Right now he naps in his swing during the day so to me either way is going to be a big change for him.
He doesnt sleep in our bed but in his bassinet in the pack n play in our room. So he’s moving from bassinet to crib. I just figured starting with night because my husband isnt home during the day so I could keep his nap routine the same for awhile in his swing.
it depends. I decided at 4 months to move my child to his crib from co-sleeping. I was going to do it small but one night my bf had friends over, so I put our son in his crib & he slept 10 hrs! Every night (except last night bc he had a rough teething day yesterday) I put him in there. He hasn’t slept 10hrs again in there but long enough!
Either way would work in my opinion.
