Concentation camps were invented by the British during the Boer War. Deaths in them were horrific due to neglect and ignorence rather than as a policy but the ramifications are still apparent to-day.
Those run be the Germans were to deliberately cause the deaths of the inmates by gassing or overwork. The US Guantanamo is a concentration camp but is not intended to cause death. however it is sadly a centre of injustice. I am d sad that US has fallen from it’s own ideals ,
