My mom is trying to find something like a “Doggie Day Camp” in the Twin Cities, MN, USA. Ideas???
She has a black lab that is at home in it’s kennel all day while she works and she would like to find a “Day Camp” type situation for her dog to play.

I live in Maplewood. I am a cat owner, but my parents have a dog.
In this case, I would recommend hiring a dog walker. For two reasons:
1. you don’t have to cart your dog all over town
2. you don’t have to worry about your dog picking up kennel cough or any other disease (that happened to my parents, and it was devastating.)
There are a few people who do dog-walking here in the Metro.

I’m sure there’s others too…I know there are a few pet resorts in the metro, but that would be REALLY spendy if she wanted to drop off the dog each day.
You could also ask your vet. They are a trusted professional who could refer you to people (maybe some of her patients’ owners) who provide the service as well.
