Camping Dorset Coast

Small campsites in Dorset?

Hi
I want to go camping in west Dorset as near to the Jurassic Coast/beach as possible. All the sites I’m finding are massive holiday villages with caravans and things when I would prefer something a bit smaller, facilities not so worried about – apart from a loo and a sink! just easy to get to, near the beach and not full of loads of people. Any ideas?

Hi – try the Enjoy England website, for quiet caravan parks close to the Jurassic Coast:

You can find quality assessed accommodation for less than £10 a night, per pitch:

Seadown Holiday Park, is a small family run site, with access to beach. The park offers good facilities and there is also a small food shop on site for necessary supplies. Tent pitches start at £11 a night:

Enjoy the coastline.
