Camping Birthday Party, games or food ideas?
going camping for a friends 24th birthday, just looking for creative drinking game ideas or food recipes. let me know
Well, not a drinking game, but if you have a good sized crowd, and you want EVERYONE to be in a conversation together (rather than small separate ones) we play a game called “what’s your favorite?”
Super easy. You start by posing a general question – any subject. “What’s your favorite Movie?” Then you go all around the campfire and everyone HAS to answer. It gets people all talking together, and laughing, and it while it seems dumb, it works! The next person in the circle gets to ask the next question – anything they can think of.
Favorites we’ve covered: ice cream flavor, childhood memory, highschool memory, favorite car, favorite band/artist, favorite cocktail, favorite cartoon, favorite embarrassing moment, favorite actor, favorite dinner, etc.
Food? For a big group, you can buy hoagie bread, cut it open, add funky sandwich ingredients (lunch meats & good cheeses, onions, peppers, artichoke hearts, tomato, etc.) and load them into the hoagie buns. Wrap each sandwich up in 2 layers of foil and lay them in the coals near (but not on) the flames. The bread will toast, the cheese will melt, and you’ll have a bunch of really yummy sandwiches. They go great with beer, chips, dips, etc.
