I want to have a party in the woods, a sort of camping trip. Where is good in Oregon?
I live in Portland and it can’t be too far away, max of 2hr drive. I’ll be turning 21 and now that all my friends can drink, i want to go out and have a good camping trip/party in the woods where we can be a little loud and just have fun. Any ideas?

Just outside of Estacada is good. If you pull a map of the area you will see outside of Estacada a road called Memaloose Road. It goes for miles up into the mountains. There are many pull-outs and side roads. It has been more than ten years since I was up there, but used to go up there drinking even when I was underage and never got hastled. You should find many places where you can camp, be as loud as you want and not bother anyone or be bothered. Have fun and be safe.
