Apple Cobbler question?
I just bought some Louisiana Cobbler Mix. I also bought several pie crust mixes. I need to know if the cobbler mix is suppose to enhance the fruit filling or is meant to be the crust. The wording on the package is not helpful to me in this regard.
Also… if you have any recommendations for making the cobbler… I’m going to be camping and making it on an open fire with cast iron stuff. I have large skillets as well as dutch ovens.
ADDITIONAL QUESTION:
Ok… so I have purchased crust. Can I? Should I… put crust on the bottom or will that ruin it?
The mix is the “crust” a cobbler doesn’t have a traditional crust, it has the mix on top, and no crust underneath
