Has anyone used the Weber Char Q Charcoal Grill – 616002? Does it take long to get ready to cook on?
We’re going camping this weekend and I’ve gone and bought one of these BBQs so we don’t have to cart a gas bottle around but I’m now concerned because a friend of mine says it will take an hour to heat up!
charcoal does not take that long to heat up. There are bags of charcoal you can buy that have the lighter fluid already in them. you simply place the entire bag in the grill and light the whole bag. It will take about 15-20 minutes to be ready. Wait until the coals are glowing red. Trust me, the taste of charcoal is worth the extra effort.
