Gas canisters on trains?
I’m going camping next week, i have a portable campingaz stove which takes cp250 cartridges. I want to take this along with the gas with me but I’m not sure if there are legislation against taking highly inflammable substance on trains. I’ll be travelling with “arriva trains wales”
No, you can’t take it on the train. It falls under “Dangerous goods – inflammable liquids, explosives” which are banned under Appendix B of the National Conditions of Carriage, and you’d probably also fall foul of Conditions 49a and 51.
