Where can a teenager get a summer job?
I know it’s a little early, but can anyone give me some ideas on where to get a job? I’ll only be 15 this summer (16 by the end of this year), but I’ll be a junior in high school…I’m hoping that if I apply early enough, I can land a job even though I won’t be 16 for a few months.
Let’s see, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Quiznos, Chili’s, Blockbuster, and Stop&Shop are all within walking distance to where I live, so these are preferable (but I don’t know their ages, etc.)
I really don’t want to work at a fast food place or a camp or anything. I was thinking Blockbuster…does anyone know the hiring ages? Or if I’m young for that, do you think there’ll be a chance that the manager would bend them if they were in need of employment?
