Any suggestions for camping trip in Northumberland?
Hi,
my boyfriend and are are going camping with our dog to Northumberland for 3-4 nights in June. We want to visit Alnwick, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. Ideally we would like to camp in a wooded area with a stream – or at least something slightly along these lines! Does anyone have any suggestions of either itinerary or camping sites?

Northumberland is not the best for campsites, there is one at Waren Mill near bamburgh, but i think its a bit Holiday parky. There is also one right on the beach at Goswick sands and I’m sure you can take dogs there.
