Schools near Camp Red Cloud, Korea?
Hi I’m considering applying for a job in Camp Red Cloud, Korea. I have a 8 y/o and a 1 y/o. Are there any schools near, on or the next closest base that does. Any info you have for childcare would be appreciated as well. Thanks.
If you will be employed with the U.S. Government at CRC along with government sponsorship for your children, you will be able to enroll them in a school on base. That base will be Yongsan. There are no American public schools in AREA 1. (Uijeongbu is also AREA 1) Some parents that live near CRC, Stanely, or any other nothern camp have their kids bused down to Yongsan. There is an Elementary, Middle, and High school there. I would reccommend living in Yongsan anyways. If you live there, you can walk your son/daughter to school, drop your toddler off at daycare and take a military bus up to CRC.
