Would it be cheaper to camp or stay in a hotel?
Going on a 3-month long roadtrip with my sister. I’d rather camp along the way. I’m rustic like that
But she does not camp. Ever. But It seems that staying in hotels that long would be too expensive. So we started looking at renting an RV. But that can get pretty pricey too. Plus, we’d don’t know how to drive them, and we’d be too worried all the time about driving something that wasn’t ours, you know? So what do you suggest?
And when I say she doesn’t camp, I mean she refuses profusely. She just won’t do it. And it sucks.
So, calculating in having to buy camping equipment and camping spots, which one would be cheaper?
camping is deffinately cheaper and you get to see more that way. maybe she would compromise? sometimes it can be nice to get a little civilization too. maybe she would camp half the time and stay in a hotel half the time? a lot of the nicer camp grounds have showers and running water but you usually have to buy firewood.
