Which is better: a nylon lined or flannel lined sleeping bag?
I need a new sleeping bag for summer camping trips. Mine is worn out. I haven’t bought a new one in a long time. My current sleeping bag is a Columbia, 40 degree, flannel lined. I was going to get something similar. But, I’m finding a lot of nylon lined sleeping bags. So, I’m wondering which is better for summer camping, the nylon lined or flannel lined sleeping bag. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you are only camping in the summer I would just go to walmart and buy their cheapest one. The previous poster was right, the flannel will get hot in the summer, but the nylon will be sticky if you sweat (which i cant stand). I have a nylon sleeping bag rated to -40 and I use it in the summer. If you unzip the side and just cover up and lay on it where there is still some air coming in you will be fine. If you are going in miserably cold weather the nylon sucks to get into at first bc your body heat has to warm it up and it’s gonna be cold.
