Using compression bags?
To reduce the volume of campsites for the summer (yes, I think in the future) in my sling, someone suggested I use compression sacks. Not the type who needs vacuuming, but something like a bag of sleeping bags. I have a question here, however. I have a sleeping bag that comes with this bag compression "and that is really necessary always put my sleeping bag in it with both hands sore. Am I doing something wrong? This bag compression is proposed: http://www.amazon.com/Granite-Gear-Round-Solid-Compression/dp/B000XUOBS4/ref=pd_sbs_sg_1 How can I really use this? How do things actually "compress" in these bags? What does it take much time to fill this force things? Thank you –
compression bags usually have a belt around 2 or 3 of them (from top to bottom) which allow you to compress the bag once you have put your clothes or sleeping in the house. First, you fill in, then go through a process of "squeeze and squeeze and squeeze …. squeeze "until what the bag is compressed to as small as possible and straps to keep it tight. A bag of "things" and a compression bag "are not the same thing. A large number of sleeping bags come with a bag of tricks just fill your bag. The compression bag "actually straps to assist you land and keep it in the smallest possible size. Do the work, but not much equipment, then you must decide if you agree – It depends on the nature or duration of camping you do.
