Can you still enjoy camping if you have a fear of bugs and snakes?
How safe is camping really? I have always wanted to try it. Is it realistic with children?
We have a big van, can you sleep in it if you dont want to sleep in the tent? Is this allowed on campsites? Can you bring your dog along? Are there flushing toilets around?
I know nothing about camping, can anyone please give me some answers.
yes it is OK to take kids just beware of the heat and cold depending on where you go you probably wont even see a snake,the bug thing is an unnecessary fear,
but if you cant stand them don’t go camping in the mean time go to a k.o.a. approved campground they have the highest standards usually you can find them on most road atlases,
some have toilets some do not it will be listed under amenities,yes you usually can bring your dog along and sleeping in your van is fine,my parents used to take us they slept in the van and put us in pup tents,
we loved it city kids in the country was great..
