It’s a shame that most of the children in today’s Western society will grow up knowing NOTHING of actual “fishing” & the outdoors……..’Course inventions like the above does little to inspire a young angler to learn one of the most BASIC fundamentals of fishing- CASTING!
Seems like the only thing my kids are interested in is video games, Cell Phones……and the opposite sex……..

at least l’m sure you noticed they are listed under toys and games. at least they aren’t trying to push them off as real fishing gear.
you gotta realize, young kids will easily become bored with fishing if forced to sit there doing nothing while waiting for a bite. at least these toys keep them occupied and help keep them from throwing rocks at bottles in the water as l observed over this weekend.

l agree with you though. zebco 33 outfits should be the bare minimum outfits required by law. that’s what l started my kids with.
