The Vanunu Saga: 2008
[Jerusalem] On July 2, 2007, the accuser of weapons of mass destruction program in Israel, Mordechai Vanunu was sentenced to six months in prison interviews that he gave to foreign media in 2004. On January 7, 2008, the day before his appeal was to begin, again condemned Israel six months of community service instead.

BACKGROUND:

"The only way Peace is peace, the only way is nonviolence. In the Russian Compound in Jerusalem February 2, 2007, freedom of Vanunu's historic speech trial which began January 25, 2006 has been completed. He had been brought to court because he says foreign media what he thinks after his release from prison in 2004, and April 30, 2007, Vanunu was convicted of 14 of 21 – on charges of violation of court order prohibiting him talking to foreign journalists who have been MIA since then.

On Christmas Eve 2007, was arrested and taken back to prison. Vanunu committed the crime "of having dinner with a German tourist, who was also taken to the prison and interrogated. The December 27, 2007, I received an email from Vanunu:
"… They have been very hard for the young German girl, who was interrogated by the KGB here, as it … was in a separate room. It was still there after I left at 24:00 … Then do what you can, you're in a free country. January 8 hearing, the Court of Appeal. "
Vanunu's imprisonment fight against calls for six months was to begin Jan. 8, 2008, but before the date, Israel has been sentenced to six months community service.
Vanunu saga is far from over and this will continue in civil journalist the next, until freedom is yours.
