Canon EOS Rebel XT?
I just got a Rebel XT and want to know if it is possible to configure it so you can see the image you want to have the LED screen instead of through the small viewfinder. Thank you.
No, most SLR do not have live view. Some of the newer ones, but most are not serious amatuers professionals do not use it. Looking through the viewfinder is much better for composing shots and is much stronger than holding his arms. The reason for this is that the image sensor is not exposed until the shutter opens. Take your camera lens and look inside. You will see a mirror and behind it a shot. When you look through the viewfinder you see what the lens is reflected in the mirror to the viewer. Pressing the shutter button the mirror flips up and the shutter opens and exposes the sensor. In a point and shoot camera sensor are constantly threatened.
