Fly fishing gift to my husband, backpack, vest pack, backpack or bag on your chest?
My husband called a fanny pack for fly fishing, but I'm wondering if maybe a chest pack or backpack may be more comfortable and functional – is accompanied by a water bag and keys, etc. I would like some information on what has worked. We live in New England, where layers of need in winter, so I wonder if a vest would be good? Thanks for your help! 
This really is a matter of personal preference. However, I personally like a fly vest, I use pond, which has room for a bag water and more. However, since almost all packages in the chest I have seen none has space for a bag of water, this is not say that you could put in a yet would occupy the space otherwise used for fly gear.
