Many agencies have minimum required types of equipment and installation. There are a few options, provided they comply with them and the agency guidelines. Some agencies allow their wives only in one case and not on the front in a visible place. These are generally larger departments or very small departments do not want to "send message" that are "dangerous." These departments are have a bunch of whiners in their cities who think that laws do not apply to them. More or less, most agencies have flashlights, handcuffs, guns, cartridges refill, pen, cane, or club, the appointment book, gloves. Hope this helps ..
