Boy Scouts of buying a camping backpack is best, an internal or external frame?
Selection of young people seems to be mostly domestic packages. But I've read external frame is best for hiking, which is mainly what scouts do.
In my humble opinion are better for external frames most uses. internal frames have been developed for climbing and travel. make very fair baggage and go through baggage handling much easier. thay may be better for navigation as well. paths to the outer frame is better. that rides better, is cooler to wear, gives you more options in the package bears the same burden easy, and is more adjustable. Finally, there are several low-priced equipment outside the operating quite well for those not born wealthy, had never seen a platform Decent internal frame is worth the effort under a $ 100 and most have more than that. internal frames are a compromise between good and lead to non-interference with the escalation or in narrow areas. external frames can be designed to bring the best without any limitation.
