Halloween haunted question, plz help

the last couple of yrs. we’ve gone camping at a campground that goes all out at halloween. Everyone puts up there halloween decorations and on one night all the kids go trick or treating We were thinking of doing something fun this yr. I was thinking of doing a haunted house out of tarps or something cheap, in between 2 camp sites side by side, we both have have awnings (if that helps) I have several decorations and a few volunteers, I just dont know a way to make this work. We have an R.V. with big front windows to put a spooky things in. The other campgrounds have a lot of good decorations in them, so I’m looking for some differant ideas, if you got any let me know. Thanx.

Wow, let me say that I think its awesome that you’re willing to go through all this trouble to give these kids a Halloween to remember!

I love red light up eyes; they are really creepy if used properly and pretty inexpensive as well. Buy a few pairs and stash them around the camp site in trees or deep bushes. Be careful not to put them too close together. You’re going for the look of eyes, not a bush with red Christmas lights in it. Jack-o-lanterns with fake candles carved with scary faces are classic for a reason, they always look good. For the ultimate in scare tactics, tell a ghost story about a woman who died in the woods (you can make up your own or borrow one from the web) where you are and then go for a ghost hunt. Have a woman in a white dress and white face paint on their hands and face walking through the woods. Make her close enough to see but far enough away to appear shadowy. If its a very dark night, you may want to have her dress glow slightly, there are lots of products online that will achieve this, just search for glow paint or glow fabric paint.

Happy Haunting!
