Australia National Parks – The best for the visit

, Australia is the driest continents and is part of a training mass Gondwanaland vast territory, which connected the southern continents of Africa, Antarctica, Australia, India and America South, and separated by more than 100 million years.

Today there are 516 national parks in Australia, covering 3% of the land. This may seem much, but given the size of Australia, which amounts to 25 million acres!

It is the responsibility of local authorities from the state to care for national parks. Thus, for example a park is managed by the NSW Government of NSW. The most important are served by the federal government.

No visit to Australia is complete without a trip of at least one national park. Most of its natural attractions are celebrated in the parks anyway, by default, until the end of the visit.

This is not my intention to inform you on all the 516 parks, but I'll share with you what I think are the best.

Before that, however, to understand how the national parks. A national park may literally be a park but it's probably a larger area of the fauna and flora of the trees are special or sacred. It may also be, example, rock formations sacred Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is the home of Ayers Rock. A national park may cover long distances with the average visitor to play just a small corner of it. Others are more manageable and you can see more.

Entrance to the park is generally not free. You must pay an entrance fee of about $ 10. They can charge is the person or vehicle. For example, Ayers Rock tourist haunts, you can expect to pay more.

Australian National Parks and Camping

Many people choose to camp in parks national. It's a good idea if you love the outdoors and are not too worried about snakes or spiders (just kidding!) In general, areas designated for camping and fire regulations are more stringent because of the risk of forest fires. The facilities are often quite basic but if you do not expect hot showers. That said, some of them!

In general, you need a permit to camp in national parks and places are limited. In summer it can sometimes be hard to find camping spots are available so you must book in advance. The government websites will search site. Remember that you must do this for each State, taking into account the fact that parks are managed by the state government. At Christmas, when it is actually occupied, some national parks to implement a system vote. If your name is taken from the manga, is one of the lucky (and it works in Freycinet National Park in Tasmania)

It is difficult to know what are the best national parks and can be quite subjective because it depends on what you like. All rooms with splendid views and below you can find my top 3. More than 15 on site website below.

Ideal for beaches and coastal views

God Howe Island has earned an international reputation and is considered by the UNESCO site of world heritage. It is not difficult to see why, with their full paths of charm, forests, mountains, beaches and marine life. The best hiking is the valley of the shadow and Mount Gower. The first takes you through tall forests of palms and Banyan Tree Kentia. The second is known a day's walk from the summit of Mount Gower and known to be one of the best walks in Australia.

Better Training Spiritual Rocky

Although Ayers Rock could be on the tourist route, this national park (Uluru-Kata Tjuta) is great and deserve to be in the top 3 of all national parks in Australia. It is also a World Heritage Site because of their culture and training rock. Most come to visit the Rock and really must ensure that you see, either at sunset or sunrise. They say it's the best time to see how the changing light of the rock makes it look particularly impressive. You can take your car to the viewing platforms particular, but arrive with enough time to get a good seat. I also recommend making a dinner or breakfast meeting takes place at this time. There are two rock formations in the park, however, and the second, The Olgas, in my opinion, more impressive than the rock. Do not forget to visit both. First step should be the cultural center as it gives you an idea of walking and hours of guided walks, if you prefer a guide. Do not forget to check indigenous products are generally sold here too. Walking is the most popular base (9km) Allow about three hours is a lot of time to photos. Do not climb the rock. Not only is steep and dangerous, is totally against the culture and indigenous beliefs.

Grampians National Park, to 260 km Melbourne is one of the most popular parks in Victoria. To get there take the road to the West or Melbourne Glenelg and takes about 3.5 hours. There is much to see and do outside the Grampians themselves (a series of sandstone ridges with steep slopes.) Try to walk two days or steep with the best views of the park. Mackenzie's grave are very popular but if you want to leave the tourist trail, go further in the park outside of Halls Gap. Try Wartook Valley (Mount Zero and Mt Stapylton) or something more intense, go to Mt Difficult. Stony Creek Stony Peek passing is as good as the Great Wall of China, which offers excellent overlooking the picturesque Tower Hill Valley and Victoria.
