I-5 closed from california to oregon any detours?
my ex called me from heading back from california and says 1-5 is closed? Is anyone familiar with this and can explain a detour or a good website since google maps I can’t see anything other than the interstates. and siskiyous pass isn’t saying anything about the area on the site can’t really see the cams too well since its dark either. The only thing I saw was either they can turn around and take 80 through nevada and utah then up to idaho into oregon but they dont have the gas money for that or it can take 10X longer.
any help appreciated. Or i’ll just tell them to camp out tonight and see if they can drive through in the morning…
if I5 is closed then use a road to the coast first , 126 out of eugene or 199 out of grants pass are two you might use. the take US 101 south, that will take you into cal.
