Camping on Beckwith Island?

Has anyone camped on Beckwith Island on Georgian Bay? I may go August long weekend and want to know what to expect. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions?

What are you asking, for weather related issues this time of year? Insects? Probably just prepare for the worst, expect the best.
