Do you think the Leatherman Blast is a good quality, useful tool?
I think all Leathermans are good tools. Great quality (probably the best for multi tools). I had a Pulse, which I liked and now I have a Leatherman Core, which is better. The Pulse, I left on the bumper of my truck after a fishing trip and it fell off somewhere. 
It looks like the Blast has a lot of the same features as the Core. Actually, I think it’s better and cheaper! (I think it’s newer than the Core — I have had it several years now) .
The scissors and eyeglass screwdriver on the Blast are nice bonuses I don’t have. The Wave is also nice because it has blades you can access without opening everything up.
I use mine hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and working on things around the house. I keep it on me every time I go on outdoor adventures and it gets a lot of use. It hasn’t failed on me once. I would be pretty lost without it.
