What are some recommended campgrounds just south of the Flagstaff, AZ area?
We are looking for something reasonable that offers tent sites and RV camping with full hook-up preferred, but not necessary. We are looking for something just south of Flagstaff that will offer tolerable weather (escape the Phoenix heat). We would also like something that offers swimming too. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if you could add why you prefer it that would be great too. Thanks!
There is one just about 20 minutes south of Flagstaff at munds park. It has all the facilitys you are looking for.

If you want cheap/free – get off one exit north at willow springs. Follow the service road west of I17 and there is lot’s of area for RV’s. No swimming unless you want to take a dip in one of the small lakes/ponds.
Alternativly you could head to Mormon Lake Lodge –

no pool, but lot’s of other things to do (horseback, ATV, cowboy themes) it also has all the hookups.
