I am visiting Cape Cod this summer. Where do I camp, beach or Scusset Nickerson State Park?
I am visiting Cape Cod this summer and really hope for a place to camp on the beach. I can not find anywhere that offers, but Scusset Beach and Nickerson State Park apparently alternative great. What is the best?
Scusset Beach of Cape Cod could be easier to obtain compared to Nickerson, but you have to cross either sandwich or Bourne bridges to get to Cabo, and summer, traffic on the bridge is horrible. Nickerson State Park in Brewster and Cape Cod, which is quite central most activities of the Cape. There may be a queue for the sites, so book in advance would be ideal. My choice would Nickerson. Incidentally, if you can not enter Nickerson, there are several private campgrounds in the area are quite pleasant and not so expensive. Sweetwater Forest is an ideal place.
