Winter Camping Hints

What is the title of this Holocaust memoir?

In it, a girl from a fairly wealthy Jewish family gets separated from her family members and sent to a work camp. After she is sent to that camp, she and the other girls are sent to a death camp, where the guards march all of the prisoners through the snow. She is thankful her father told her to wear her winter boots when they were taken in the summer.
At the end, she ends up marrying one of the soldiers that rescued her.
I hope that was enough detail to give maybe a little hint…? I had to read it in the eighth grade when we studied the Holocaust and thought it was a wonderful memoir. I’ve tried Google-ing it, but for the life of me I can’t remember who wrote it or what it was titled! I tell everyone about it and I still think about the boots scene every time I have to put on my own winter boots, but I can never remember what it’s called!
Thank you for any help!

All But My Life by Gerda Weissmann Klein

“It was her father’s insistence on a warm June day that she take her winter sky boots with her that saved her during the forced winter march a few years later-many of the girls there died for lack of footwear.”
