when camping in the winter, do you ever use just a tent.??…or are you strictly a camper or RV person.??
Well Brave, I’m in Texas…lol…(not the coldest winters, here, but cold enough)
The deer lease has a cabin so no tents needed there.
We “stay” on the pontoon, when weekend fishing, so no tents needed there…
Most all that I go “camping with” have a 5th wheel or RV..
But! I have slept in the back of a pickup (while camping in the winter) and it was cold — but lots of goose down and long johns, and alcohol got me through it, and I’d do it again!
There’s usually a nice campfire anyway…and there’s always SOME that don’t sleep (to watch it)…
