a few questions about anne frank?
we’re learning about the holucost (don’t mind thee spelling.) and we went to see a play last friday. at the end of the play when the green police came in the anex, mr. frank started talking about how peter, mr vann dann, mrs. vann dann, anne ect. died, and he said that anne say her bestfriend jope at a concentration camp through the wires and a few days later anne died. the guy playing mr. frank said that when anne saw jope, anne was naked and had her head shaved.
how did they know that anne saw jope?
if peter didn’t knock into the chair, would they have lived?
in the book that i read, and the play i saw. there was a theif downstairs robbing the store. peter went to turn out the lights. and he when he got up, kicked the chair. and the theif ran out of the store.

they know that anne saw jope because of other women in the camp with anne. anne’s dad otto survived and only died in 1980. when he started publishing anne’s diary a lot of women who were in the camp with anne who she became close with came forward to talk to otto about their experiences with his daughter. also, jope herself survived. so jope told otto frank.
and i’m nto sure what you mean aobut the chair? I’m guessing that’s just something the producer of the play added in but no one knows who betrayed the families, they think a worker from the spice factory heard noises. if you leave an “edit” to your question explaining what you mean i may be able to help!
